The Research Society on Alcohol serves as a meeting ground for scientists in the broad areas of alcohol use and alcohol-related problems. The Society promotes research and the acquisition and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Membership applications are reviewed and subject to approval by the RSA Membership Committee. Applications are reviewed, at minimum, on a monthly basis; excluding the month of June. Any applications submitted during the month of June will be reviewed in July.

Membership Application Requirements:
Regular - Curriculum Vitae and a *Letter of Recommendation/Verification.
Postdoctural - Curriculum Vitae and a *Letter of Recommendation/Verification.
Student - Biosketch or Resume, *Letter of Recommendation/Verification and brief summary of alcohol research project.
Associate - Biosketch or Resume and a *Letter of Recommendation/Verification.
*Letters of Recommendation/Verification can be from an RSA Member or alternatively from a peer/colleague or from a supervisor/chair/chief.
